Storied Hotel- In This Unique and Fascinating City. As
Hotel Manager For the Past Two Years- I*Ve Worked To
Infuse a Renewed Spirit of Service Here- And That
**Can-Do** Attitude is Being Demonstrated Daily by Our
Team Members As We Rebuild.
While We Are Currently Housing Emergency Workers and
Staff- We Look Forward To Welcoming Regular Guests in
Late November. Our Le Croissant Restaurant Has Resumed
Full-Service Operation- Kabby*S Sports Edition Has Been
Busy With Sports Fans For a Number of Weeks Already-
And Room Service Will Start Up Again On November 15.
While Our Health Club by Hilton is Undergoing Repairs-
We Are Exploring the Possibility of Not Only Renovating
the Locker Facilities But Also Perhaps Adding a Spa
Component. In the Meantime- We Have Two Meeting Rooms
Dedicated To Fitness- With Aerobic Machines in One and
Weight Machines in the Other.
Speaking of Meeting Rooms- About 85 Percent of Our
Meeting Space Will Be Fully Renovated by the Spring-
Including Our Grand Ballroom and Grand Salon. We Will
Welcome Christmas Parties and Mardi Gras Celebrations
Using Temporary Carpet in Our Ballroom and Salon- As We
Want To Ensure Our Customers Can Continue To Call the
Hilton Their Home. Even Our Meeting Space Escalators
Will Be Replaced.
Our Business Center- Which is Also Being Repaired- Will
Be Relocated To a More Central Location. Our Front Desk
Will Be Completely Remodeled- With a Design That Will
Increase Efficiency and Enhance Service. Even Our
Sales- Catering and Convention Services Team Will Have
New Offices.
Our Guestrooms Sustained Very Little Damage. We Are-
However- Moving Forward On Complete Renovation of Our
Riverside Building Guestrooms and Corridors. This
Renovation Will Include Some of Our Largest Hospitality
Suites.
